No statistic updates

I'm running on Ubuntu Studio 64-bit and yesterday I started to run SoB again after a very long break. However, I am unsure of how to get the client to send updates of it's progress so I can view it on the website.

I have client.conf in /config in the same directory as where mprime is with it just containing "server.reportfrequency = 5" yet it doesn't seem to send any report of any kind. I originally kept it at 60 but noticed it still wasn't sending any stat reports.

What am I doing wrong? :(

The default is to check-in once per day, so I suspect you are just not waiting long enough for it to update. The behavior and configuration of mprime is much different than the old SoB client. It does not send progress updates to the server with nearly the same frequency.

If you want it to update more frequently, what you want to do is edit prime.txt and add the line "DaysBetweenCheckins=0.5" (without quotes) if you want twice per day, 0.25 for 4 times per day, etc. I think you can go down to 0.06, which is about every 1.5 hours.

Note that this only works with the most current version, so make sure you are running v25.11. Older versions of mprime are only able to check-in a maximum of once per day.

EDIT: While you are editing prime.txt, make sure V5UserID=<username> is set to your user name and not "louie" If you did not change it to your user name, this also could also be the cause of your issue.

That seems to have done the trick. I guess I'm still too used to the small updates.
