Today I'm cooking:
Roast turkey with cornbread stuffing and gravy.
Honey glazed ham with pineapple slices.
Mashed potatoes.
Sweet potatoes.
Corn on the cob.
Baked beans
Cornbread muffins.
Homemade dinner rolls.
Cole slaw.
Cranberry sauce.

And to top it off.
Homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

I hope everyone has a nice one. And remember why it's called thanksgiving. I know that I have plenty to be thankful for.:D

Happy Thanksgiving!

As a Brit living in the US, I have to say I love Thanksgiving here. Turkey is in the oven, plus a Honey Baked Ham, spiral cut, maple-glazed (I've already had some!). All the trimmings await :)

We are going to take a walk down by the lake with the dog, play some football, then eat and play some games with the kids. Tomorrow we'll go pick the Christmas tree and get the lights put up on the house..
