Hi,
is it planned to code a proxy or something ? So i.e. i would install this proxy on one pc and dozens of machines get their blocks from the proxy-pc (which has internet) and send it back to the proxy if finished and proxy-pc send it to sb. I mean that wouldnt be a real proxy... the pc's behind the proxy wouldnt even have a direct connect to internet then, but i hope you know what i mean... ;p

Well, it is a proxy - it doesn't provide internet access, but access to the SB server (to be more specific: to the work units)...

it has already been discussed here (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2088), by the way. :)

Hi.

I'm a Lan manager of my office and I have 350 PCs with private IP address.

For the Http and ftp, all my users pass by my Squid proxy on linux.

In this moment, I test SB with a tunnel or relay IP to communique with SOB server.

I have a station W2K with public IP address, who run "ip_relay.exe".

The private station call my public station by the port 1717 and the public station relay the information to SOB server.

My command line: ip_relay 1717 sob.pns.net 1717

I found it on download.com.

In this moment, I test with 2 linux private station and that work.

In futur, my next test, with port 80 and with Windows station.

Feedback please.

Thanks
