Can't change avatar

I can't change my avatar or I'm not doing it right.
I go into "user cp" and click on "edit options" and click on "change avatar" and I get a screen that says something about an error.

I don't really NEED to change it, but I'm getting tired of seeing the same thing.

I'm having the same type of problem though not with my Avatar. I was editing my options and when I submitted them I got:

Not Found

The requested URL /forum/member.php3 was not found on this server.

oops: I just tried it and got the same HTTP 404 - File not found page.

Try again... I'm not sure where the php3 reference is coming from.
