Compiling... I just used 3 days to try to compile the new blender version (2.36) in windows but failed. I give up on this; blender seems to be incredibly poorly maintained with regards to the windows compile files.
For the future there will be no support for the windows platform - at least not until someone volunteers to do the compiling on that platform.
