Just a reminder, especially for the new people. For the first couple hours during a protein change-over the server is going to be swamped. Although the servers were upgraded not too along ago, they still get overloaded at peak times.
Your best bet is to wait an hour or so and try again and things should be better. If you want to retry sooner, please wait at least 10 minutes. Continously stopping and restarting the client will only aggravate the problem. ;)
Also note there are multiple servers. You may get a message about them being down for maintenance. Sometimes it takes a little whiles for the server to sync up. Just hitting your Refresh/Reload button if you get this message (windows user can hit <F5>).
If you are doing a update of multiple machines, try to stagger them out in connecting to the server if possible.
If by the end of the day you still can't get updated, check back here again to see if anybody else is having problems and then you can post a message for Howard.
