I have a G4/500 and a G4/733 which are currently being used to crunch for Team Prime Rib, in the GIMPS project. This is the not the best use of their ability, and so I would like to use them to crunch RC5.

However.....

The trade off is that they would have to be swapped (virtually) for 2 P4/1.6 or better which would then be used to crunch for TPR/GIMPS.

I would sign my 2 boxen over to any member of the Free-DC team who would then sign their machines over to TPR, under my own team name. Situation would then continue until either party wished to call a halt.

Any takers?

nice idea, but i'm fresh out of P4's! :o
we don't even have any at work yet, we're still buying 1.1 Ghz celeron's and P3- 1.13Ghz :eek:

My MACs are not going anywhere, so if you hear of anyone who wants to do a swap with their P4s, then do ask them to get in contact.
