Yes, it is an Intel Xeon processor, that needs a special motherboard, chipset and a 603 pin socket.

Not your run of the mill Intel P4.

see thats what sucks about intel

always needing to " buy " somthing special

sorta like microsoft

but hey its a fast chip at a good price
