Slow protein?

This protein seems real slow. Is anyone else seeing this?

Actually, EVERYONE is seeing that! It's sort of, you know, the nature of the beast.

Looks like around 30% or so slower than the last one. It varies. ;)

I wanted to just be sure. This computer is a new one and I've been having problems with it. Apparently it was the old video card I put into it. Now with a GeForce4, it seems to run ok.

It's slow alright. It's around 2/3 what the last one was, which in turn was around 2/3 the one before it. It's rather depressing to have ones production drop like that. :(

I'll be glad when the new client is going and they can adjust the credit for each protein so that this sort of thing can be avoided.

I haven't seen Howard say anything about weighting each protein. Did I miss a post somewhere? The only thing that I HAVE seen is Howard asking us to stop asking for changes to the scoring function. He will keep it fair for all. During the entire project run so far there have been "fast" ones and "slow" ones, the fairness comes from the fact that everybody works on the same one at the same time, so over time it all averages out.
