as for speeds

My P4 1.8 hits 230k cEMs/sec
My Duron 950 hits about 180k cEMs/sec

My xp 2100+ only does ~155k cEMs/sec
And it has pc133 ram. I guess DDR would help :rolleyes:
Yet another reason I only have my P4 running SB.

XP2100 with DDR 225,000+ I think DDR would help alot. ;)

just thought I'd run SoB (for FreeDC) whilst DF evolves...thrown my P4 (2.7GHz) onto it using the latest client and getting around 301,500 cEMs/sec (for the first block) - which I assume is fairly fast :crazy:
