my main workstation is dead. actually it's been dead for a few days now.

i'm not checking email like before so if there's something important about SB, email Dave or Mike.

it's probably best for me that I have no compter as my finals approach.

I FIXED MY COMPUTER!

a capacitors on the motherboard completely melted. i was looking to buy a new mobo this weekend after my last final but i figured "hey, they probably just put a mess of caps on these processors' power lines to meet some messed up european safety standard or something". so i ripped the 10v 3900uF cap out the board, powered on, and it actually works! :)

as one of my friends put it "well, if that were gonna work for anyone it was gonna be you"

2 finals left and then i'll be on the forum more regularly again. peace folks.
