Actually running on XP, dunno what happened to the detection. Lots slower and makes the computer feel sluggish.

INSIDUOUS
I HAVE A BARTON 2500+. I JUST DID THIS TO IT.http://www.thegenomecollective.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5473
I ONLY BLEW OUT THE FIRST AND SECOND BRIDGES ON L3. I CAN NOW ACCESS 6.5 AND 12.5 MULTIPLIERS. BEFORE I COULD ONLY ACCESS 6.5 AND 11.
THIS SCREWED UP MY MONITOR AND USB, SO I REFORMATTED AND REINSTALLED WINXP. BEEN RUNNING GOOD FOR 24 HR.
AT 2114 MHZ 338 BUS SPEED I AM DOING 1.29 STRUCTURES PER SECOND. 111,000 PER DAY.
AT STOCK 1836 MHZ I WAS DOING ABOUT 95,000 A DAY.
WHAT IS ANNOYING IN THIS BUSINESS IS A COUPLE MONTHS LATER YOUR HARDWARE IS OLD. I BOUGHT MY 333 FSB MOBO A MONTH AGO AND NOW THEY ARE UP TO 400 FSB.
Insidious

cool
Mine is a 2500+ Barton too. I changed MoBos at the same time and am on a KD7-Raid so it unlocks the multipliers for me.
I haven't pushed it yet to see if I can up the speed a bit, so far I just slapped a 12.5 multiplier (2.08 GHz) on it and put the ram at cl=2.
Once I get everything else setteled (install all my stuff) I'll fiddle with the FSB a bit as well. I'm on DDR333 ram, so I'm guessing it isn't going to go much higher than where I am now.
All we need now is a protien from a cat instead of a snail
