How to remove Microsoft Messenger from Outlook Express
Open regedit and follow along (only if you KNOW HOW!!!)

System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express]
Value Name: Hide Messenger
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (2 = remove messenger)

Disclaimer: Ifn ya fubar your registry, you own all the parts/pieces

/puts on nix flack jacket.... A funny thing about Win Xp... Running DF I tryed every version of nix I could get my hands on on my dually. None would run for more than a day with out crashing. Changing nothing else I have had a base install of Xp running not only 2x DF but 2x CB and now 2x ogr25 and 2x CB plus peernodemonitor client with out a hickup for a month no rebooting no nothing.

Hm...you're lucky...my WinXP Profi always ends day with announcment, that "serious error occured, system halted"...well, something like that and it's not HW problem, 'cause Win2k or linux work w/o problems for weeks...:confused: :bang:

I started using ICQ when MSNM wasn't around and
I have no intention to switch over.

And besides, GAIM can handle them all...so :Pokes:
