I was just wondering, how does it measure things like structures per second

is it

a)the total number of structures since the client started divided by the total time the client has been running

or

b)the total number of structures generated in the last specific time interval divided by the time in that last interval

or

c)something totally different

It is based on the total number of structures that the client has generated since dfGUI was started divided by the number of seconds since dfGUI was started.

That is the very basic method of how it works. If the client is not running when dfGUI is started it doesn't start counting the seconds until the client actually starts. You can also reset the benchmark by clicking on the "Reset" button which will start the structure and time counter over again.
