It was only a matter of time until someone applied Boinc to Bitcoin. While some would argue that Bitcoin is a complete waste of resources, I would have to disagree. If you read this (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?28281-Paid-project-Sort-of&highlight=bitcoin) forum you might get some insight into what I mean. Due to some SNAFUs the current value of Bitcoins makes it a so so project to run. If the value goes back up some then it is a reasonable way to earn money for upgrades. Since it is a project at which ATI cards excell, I wouldn't bust on GPUGRID that uses Nvidia cards.
