Considering Switching to DF

I currently fold but am rapidily getting fed up with the stanford setup. Todays stat server outage was the last straw.
I am looking for a new project. DF looks favourite.

The team I fold for ABXZone doesn't support any other projects
so I will have to change teams.
I would prefer not to go to ARS or [H].

I don't know a lot about DF but I believe it starts with a clean slate soon. Does your team intend to continue and be competitive?

On tuesday a new client with a completely new algorithm will be published. AFAIK the stats will be reset and start at zero again. So, that's a great moment to start (distributed)folding.

according to Howard ("Brian the First", the project-coordinator) the auto-update feature _should_ work for all _regular_ clients and will certainly _not work_ for the current _beta_ clients. Of course it's possible something goes wrong, its a huge change between now and the future. So be prepared to install some of the new clients manually.

- Our new hardware is successfully in place and so we have scheduled the update to Phase II to occur on Tuesday June 17. If this should change for any reason we'll post a follow up message here. The servers will be down for several hours during this period. Also for techincal reasons, you will NOT be e-mailed when the update becomes available, if you usually are. However once up again, auto-update should function as normal. If folding offline, please remember NO credit will be given for old proteins after this switch, so upload any buffered data between now and Monday to be safe.

I wonder if its my fault.
Earlier today I created a new team. [Just incase any of my ABXZone friends decide to give this project a go]
What I didn't notice was that all my points shifted to the new team.
I noticed after a few hours and switched back to FreeDC.
