If you read through all the Beta threads, and some of the others that deal with the client getting stuck; you'll see you're in the same boat as some of the rest of us. Long delays are normal. Depending on the structure your client picked out of the 10k that were created in gen 0, you may race through all 250 gens with very little sticking (and get a good or bad score for your lowest AA structure). You may slog through to gen 250, get stuck often, and come out with a crummy AA score. Or you may slog through to gen 250, get stuck often, and come out with a top 10 AA score. It's random.
