I am using it now to monitor all my clients at once, without having to VNC to each one, and/or using the KVM switch to run thru them one at a time.

Works Great with the new PhaseII Client!

Also works with many other projects!!!

Yup! Works great as IB says. :hifi:

It took me a moment or two to figure out how to access non-shared folders on the remote boxes, but after that it the rest was easy. \\Farm1\c$\distribfold1 was the trick.

But - I'm wondering what the client is doing when it shows 'Stopped' for a bit then comes back to 'Running' status? If the client is truly not running, it shows 'Unknown'.

I'll give this a try as I'm currently pressing buttons on my KVM about half a dozen times per day to just make sure the two processors on my server are still folding. :D

Seems to work well for my three little boxes (AND saves wear and tear on the KVM switch...) But..... I use a minimize sound on my desktop and I really wish it didn't play minimize/maximize sounds three times each time you minimize/maximize it.

Didn't know the "non-shared folder" trick, so I simply went to the other boxes and shared the DF folders. Is this bad?

Hehehe - I see the whip smiley ended up in the list of availables......

That seems to be when the client gets 'stuck' on a structure. I would assume DCMonitor thinks the client has stopped because the details of progress.txt aren't changing (i.e. the structures complete/remaining in current generation remains constant while structure is 'stuck').

Changes for v0.71 of DCMonitor:

- Updated the column sorting options so that they work with the new DF client.
- DCMonitor can now be resized for those people with more than 15 boxes .
- Column sizes are now saved when DCMonitor is closed.
- Added an option to return the columns to their default widths.
- Rewrote the minimise to tray code so that it works cleaner now.

You can get it from the usual place:

Cheers
