After lying idle for a month or more...I tried getting my two dual XP1800, Tyan S2460 boxes up and running after some hardware swapping.
They are both borked. :( BIOS resets, different drive cables, RAM, disks... nothing works. :scared:
These boxes ran reliably for about 14-16 months straight and I think the heat stress fried em.
The moral of the story? Once you start DC ... you can NEVER, EVER stop!!!

Now that is a horror story!
I have all my machines switched on 24/7/365.
Thanks for the tip Chinasaur, I will be sure to NOT switch off my machines!

That's terrible!!!
Leave them running anyways, let it warm up for a few hours, press the reset button, see what happens.
