I have this one computer on which I buffered some 180k points (due to dialup problems).
Todat I wanted to dump them, but now it seems that is not possible. Probably I am the one doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what.

I editted foldit.bat with parameter -ut en executed it. Now it just says Checking for newer versions... and it's been sitting there for 15 minutes now... I have a connection...

I already made a copy of my complete directory and unzipped the original client into that (overwriting any old files) but to no avail...

Anybody any ideas on how to send in these results? Or maybe I should start a clean client, but I have no idea which results I should put in there....

How many Genereations? 337 of them by any chance? There's another thread recently in the Bug Tracking area about this particular prob. Nobody has found a fix yet. Best to save the directory and start the client over again. (I think it's the Bug Tracking forum don't remember 100%)

Found the thread you mentioned.
Unfortunately I also receive the Previous Generation Missing failure. Darn. 180k points down the drain...

There's one or two threads where some people have managed to get some/most of their orphaned phase II files to upload in the last week. See if you can track down the threads, and if it'll help with yours. good luck..

you are another victum of the 337 bug

teams need to let their people know not to buffer too much work, no more than 337 generations

i was only able to salvage work from the 337 bug on one PC, W2K , all the XP boxes get the missing generation thing. i don't know for sure that XP is significant , maybe i was just lucky on the W2K box
