-qt option does ????

Hi all,

I'm trying to run DF on a Win98 box with the -qt option, bit I still get a DOS window popping up when the program starts up... an empty DOS window... but one nevertheless. As long as that DOS window pops up, I don't see that advantage of the -qt option.

I really would like to run this invisible. Am I missing something? Would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Hah! Just tried this on my '98 box. You so right!

Tried every trick I know, and I know a few with 98 ;)

for windows 98, i just used the hidewindows utility
there is a linky to it from the team helix website, if you can't find it, i'll post a linky later
