A generation from previous set is still on my computer

I have recently started my second set, but today I saw that a file with "248" in its filename, and with extention ".val" is in my DF folder. This file is obviously from the previous set, but the error.log file shows no errors for the past week. Can it be that I never uploaded the last few generations from my previous set?

Keep the file for a while,n the client needs a bit of a back reference to see what's already been done.
If all seems well once you're past the first few generations of this new run, you can delete it sfaley - it was probably just a glitch.

Actually, I believe this is a 'known' problem. At the end of completing 250 generations and uploading them, there may be a single file left behind. This is due to complex technical reasons and since its only 30K or so its probably best to ignore it and leave it alone. We will try to come up with a reliable way to get rid of it in a future version.
