A member has asked this, any ideas :p

"Thanks for the suggestions. I may have discovered the problem, at least in my case. After trying to edit filelist.txt, etc, I still couldn't make the client fold properly, so I restarted with a fresh folder, and after completing Gen #0, more errors, stuck again! So I realized that the only change I had done to my system around the time the errors started was installing WinRar, which can handle .bz2 files used by DF. Uninstalled WinRar, started the client again in new folder, and it's running great, folding Gen #10 as I type!!! Error.log is empty! Now just waiting to see if score goes up.

Any ideas why WinRar would affect the client, since I was not opening the .bz2 files? "

I have WinRAR installed. It detected the *.bz2-Files. But I didn't have any problem concerning this.

The other bugs have made more than enough problems (memory leaks), but now I know how to prevent them (-g 0).

Didn't read of your problem on the board, so if it works now, be happy. ;)

I did default installs of WinRar 3.20 beta 2 on two winxp machines, and both machines have been folding for months with the WinRar loaded.
