I just downloaded & installed SoB yesterday, and was running it for about 19 hours. I then had to reboot my computer, so I hit the Stop button, it told me the process had been paused, and I continued with the reboot.
When Windows started up again, I noticed that the SoB client had downloaded a new block. Here is the log file from that time :
[Wed Jul 16 14:14:36 2003] got proth test from server (k=19249, n=4118018)
......................
[Thu Jul 17 08:24:38 2003] n.high = 235872 . 264 blocks left in test
[Thu Jul 17 09:32:30 2003] resolving hostname
[Thu Jul 17 09:32:30 2003] opening connection
[Thu Jul 17 09:32:32 2003] temporarily unable to connect to server -- block added to submit queue
[Thu Jul 17 09:46:00 2003] block processing paused
[Thu Jul 17 09:48:44 2003] connecting to server
[Thu Jul 17 09:48:51 2003] logging into server
[Thu Jul 17 09:48:52 2003] requesting a block
[Thu Jul 17 09:49:00 2003] got proth test from server (k=27653, n=4123833)
The file 'z4118018' is still there in my SB directory.
Could the problem have come up because the last block was unable to get through when it tried to send it? Or did I do something wrong? Or is this exactly how it is supposed to work?
Thanks,
SalmonKing.
