No need for more Gen 337 - Thank You!

We have received a few directories with the Generation 337 error and have uncovered the source of the problem.

Thank you to all those who have sacrificed precious time and stats to help us :|party|:

There is no more need to try and get the client to the Gen. 337 crash, so the rest of you can upload what you've got if you've been waiting to duplicate the crash for us.

Now that you've found and fixed the problem - is there a way of getting most of the 336 lost generations to upload?

If you update to the new client on Tues. and have the 336 gen's 'stashed away' somehwere, you can copy them over and they should get uploaded OK, and you'll get credit as long as it is within the usual 48 hr limit.

OK. I know have 3 Dfolding dirs.

One of them is working (very slow) with the new client and all results are uploaded.

One of them used to be a '337gen-dir' of which I have managed to upload all gens of the second run. I've succesfully updated this client, but when I run it using the -ut parameter, i says previous generation missing and then comes with a Debug Error and I'm unable to upload my results

My last dir contains alle 337 generations that I was unable to upload and I'm unable to update this one.


Does anybody have any tips on how to upload my results within the next 24 hours?

Replace the executable in your 337-gen directories with the new foldtrajlite executable and things should upload fine when you restart the client from that directory (this will fix the gen-337 error).

I'm almost certain I already tried that and that I got 'previous generation missing'. I'll give it another shot tomorrow (boxes are @work) and if it fails I'll just have to trash them...
