I'm new to this I just downloaded the Folding program yesterday evening. I did one batch of whatever it is and I got a second batch, and submitted the first from what I saw. Then after running the second time for about five minutes I get a window with the error message below (which I edited a bit).

--------------------------------------

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: ..."path omitted because it's unique to my setup of course"

File:dbgheap.c
Line:346

Expression: _CrtCheckMemory()

For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts.

(Press Retry to debug the application)

----------------------

After clicking Retry the program crashes.

Same problem Here (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3668) except that this is the proper forum ;)

Another one on the same machine:

DAMAGE: before Normal block (#82595695) at 0x085F1D20.
(Press Retry to Debug)

And then
Exception: hardcoded breakpoint
(0x80000003), Address 0x00b3491f

Could be a flaky computer?
It's a P4 @ 2 GHz, no overclocking, with a history of crashes.
Three others from the same batch run fine (although rather
slow at the moment).

.Net is officially evil! (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3675) ;)

Make sure to read all the way through that thread, as there are some caveats (i.e., if your best structure was generated with the old client, then you'll get errors at the end of gen 0).
