You post Total Credit. Can you also post Total Results?

Thanks

Do you mean the total # of wu's (results) returned to Seti@Home ? If so, then no, it's not possible as Seti@Home (or any BOINC) project don't actually export that data at all, so the stats sites can't report it.

WCG provides that kind of data, I was hoping all of the Projects make it available. That is sad. I could have used that data as a motivational tool for those how aren't guided solely by credits/points. Results are a more direct evidence of work accomplished. Well, no one ever said it would be easy. Thanks for the info. Grrrrr.

Actually WCG doe not provide that data in the exported files which mine and other stats sites use. Only on their own site. An example of what the export file contains as follows for you (I'm presuming it's you)

It's me!
Perhaps it's time to shake up the tree and get the Projects to provide the Total Results. I guess that would be BOINC's call.
I'm just a lowly wizard. I need someone important like an Administrator to make that proposal. I wonder if this how John Adams thought back in the day? :o

Yes, that would be a BOINC change. Though perhaps they already store it in the standard project database (I'm unsure of that), if so it would just mean a change to their mechanism which creates the xml itself and would likely not be difficult.

Perhaps ask at one of the projects where the admins are active (PrimeGrid, Collatz maybe)

Ok. I'll bite. Check it out... http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,35029_lastpage,yes#419073.

This is the best I could think of. If it is not, then remember. I implied that you would have been a better deliverer of the suggestion.

Into the lion's mouth...http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=8337#48840

I don't know what else I can do. The right people will either see the post and agree with the idea or it will fall on deaf ears.

Here's to better data for us all. http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/hand-gestures/friendship-handshake-smiley-emoticon.gif (http://www.sherv.net/emoticons.html)
