Just a couple of questions really before I set things up to join the team:
1) Does anyone have a copy of dfGUI? It's server seems to have gone down with the power in the US and I'd quite like to try it out.
2) I see some people quoting how much they produce a day points-wise. Is there any easy way to find this out?
As a measure of my speed:
I have 2 boxes running the client currently in my own team while i figure stuff out (harlequin, if anyone's interested in looking).
Box #1 is an XP1800 running XP Pro SP1 and has so far produced 77k points (all but 800 or so were on this protein) and is on generation 177
Box #2 is a P200 running a very cut down (like 25mb) linux installation acting purely as a firewall and router (basicly doing very little) and has so far produced nearly 17k points (all on this protien) and is on generation 64.
I can't produce this much all the time since it's running as a service on box #1 and in the background detatched from a tty on box #2, both at the lowest priority, so if i'm doing anything much on box #1 my performance will be hurt.
But hey, every little counts.
