Major battles going on throughout the table.
Will Angus ramp up enough to get Dyyryath?
Can Devzero fight back against FoBoT?
Is Paratima going to roadkill FreeDC Hydra West?
DP has just done for Docwardo and looks like he has the production for Ghost and Kosh?
Schluppy is still rising but finding his level around the bigger fish now.
Fozzie is monstering his way to Rcoulter and Richard Clyne.
Beyond reckons he's coming for Fozzie (yeah right)
Chinasaur is after Moogie.
Hydra Central is knocking on Qibhom's door.
Tak22 will roadkill Wedge and Mashrinx unless they crunch some DF sometime soon.
Sunk, Zaphod and Starkebn are in a three way tussle.
Nitrousine has put the pedal to the metal and is romping up the table.
DaKing, None and Xp will be head to head pretty soon.
Last but not least Yavatar, Corwin and Mr McGuffin are scraping it out for 68th.
/me sneaks in Thor :D

Hydra Central will probably get me soon. My work comp seems to be down, with no way to restart it until Tuesday. I should probably look for a way to get into it from home (it is WinXP and behind a firewall, I run Linux at home). Then I'll be gone for a week, with no way to restart any of my 3 and one of them offline.
What are the Hydra teams, anyway? I saw one post that implied they are old equipment from others. Got some stuff that might be useful.
Lots of folks ramping up. This is a Good Thing. The competition is fun, but best of all, the more folding, the more science.

If your work computer hasn't done it's "regular updates" /me sighs at microsoft then you can just crash the RPC service remotely and it'll restart itself :Pokes:

With the gauntlet over (for me), I have moved one box over.
Got to move the keyboard and mouse along to go move a couple more computers over.
Another 3 hours to finish gen 0 on this computer.

As well as many other things.
Teh Stir Fried Freaks only beat us by 40,000 points last hours. Not many...
(Don't look at me with that look. I'm not spending the rest of my rainy day jar on DC. No No NOooooooooooooooooooo

Steadily producing points and sneaking past the 1st billion:drums:
As far as I know , schluppy is on vacation, which means at least 2 computers are not running.....He should speed up again next week, maybe he finds some more machines at work. he should be good for the no. 10 spot in Team Free-DC

Well dang it, guys! You weren't the ONLY ones to be passed over.
I don't think Fozzie's plan was to do a complete call-out.
We got some good people out there with one or two boxen each, crunchin' along.
Most of 'em just don't make as much noise as we do, IB. :D
So here's to the crunchers of Free-DC,
Gladiators big and small.
They're all good troops, the Free-DCer's,
And to win, we need 'em all.

We need to dig deep :Pokes: for this one.
About another 75GHz should come real close to holding the lead.
We can do this! :fireboun:

Is that all? Hrmm. Letssee - that's only about twice as much as all 14 of my boxen are putting out. :( I could dig up another couple of Ghz later this month, maybe, but the comp budget is currently rather overdrawn. The move from 8 to 14 boxen was all I could do at the moment.....

Most excellent boost! :fireboun:
 I tossed on one more xp2400 myself this past week.
I have 9 pxe nodes running off a Mandrake 9.1 pxe server
That's 9 less HDDs x .1 amp, almost 100 watts of savings, plus a lot less heat! :D

Small crunchers rock. Look at what TSF does with a bunch of folks running one or two computers. And the little victories are all the sweeter for having to wait longer for them.
I just wish some of my libraries would let me put DF on their OPACs. They just sit there most of the time, looking cute. It is enough to make a geek cry. On the other hand, dealing with the error messages could drive me to despair.

we'll be close
i have 26 Ghz online
about 27Ghz offline, but only until monday evening, then i have to clean them up
maybe some more if i have time to dump them on tuesday/wednesday morning
the lab is due to get 18 more 2Ghz (2400+) boxen in a few weeks, they will be online nights/weekends , that might help, some
everyone is doing a nice job :hifi:

it wasn't meant to be comprehensive just the closer of the battles.
Thor dude, major apologies and anyone else I didn't mention.
We all do as best we can with what we have for the team and ultimately the project.
:bang: Bad Fozzie:whip:
:rotfl: :harhar:
Fozzie I was just joking man,
but always have a look on the "small people" ;)
:hifi:
so lets  and get back to do some crunching!
(maybe I can add a an xp2400 in oktober or november and hopefully the K7 800Mhz will be back anytime soon)

I figured out that one of my 8 computers is affecting the IP address to not go to him.
Damn. Oh well. I'll rely on Dyyryath.
