Seems to be 1/2 as fast as the last one, then I read this and wonder if this has anything to do with it.
Dyyryaths' stats are only updating about every two hours...

- The database backend has now stabilized - it appears it was overloading with
an exceedingly large number of connections from users trying to upload previous results

- There is currently a problem with the backend database which we will have fixed ASAP.
No work should be lost. Thank you for your patience.

According to dfgui, my generation times are three times longer than last protien.:(

You say that like it's a bad thing. We could use a little extra breathing room while we sort out how we're going to kick Ars around some more. ;) :D

i agree. with my off-line folding environment, i actually prefer a slower protein, it means less data to move about and have to upload. when bandwidth makes uploading take more time, the protein is too fast

i know it is still early, but it seems we may now have the upper hand, it isn't clear from posts in their DC forum if the "front page pimpage newbies" have dropped out due to autoupdate issues or what, but it makes sense that a few (and i mean our whole team, not just the few that post here all the time) highly dedicated DF veterans would be able to transistion more quickly and return to full production first, vs. a hourde of single boxen people that are less familiar with the nuances of protein changeover

good job to all at FreeDC! :hifi: from DaKing all the way up to PCZ ! http://www.raichu.de/Smilies/tanzen15.gif

We got hammered over the last 24 hours by Ars.

We shall see how it unfolds

The jury is still out :dunno:

What are you guys talking about??

Did you get the same new protein I did??

My generation times are running at 5-6 minutes a piece, with the highest spike being 17 minutes.

I'm confused?

And green??

but look at the graphs, it is very peaky, so i think alot of that is old structures being dumped, not new production of the new protein

but it is early and hard to tell
