HEY! :|punch|:

WHERE ARE YOU? :dunno:

THE TKC-SERVER IS UP AGAIN! :|party|:

You can re-install your TKC-clients and start typing/clicking/scrolling and pulsing! :dump:

(If you still want to, I don't want to force anybody...)

We are currently ranked at #11 and we have the power to move to rank 10 if some of us would awake. There are only about 300,000 keystrokes missing!

Other ranks:
Clicks: #7  :drink:
Scrolls: #14 is there anybody out there who has a mouse without scrollwheel?

Of course new members are welcome too! :hiya:

Erm, the newbees wont know what to do to join that fun competition:
1. go to http://keycount.piqsoftware.com/
2. register an account (you can do here: http://keycount.piqsoftware.com/myaccount/register.php)
3. after registering download the TKC-client and install it
4. sign in with your new account
5. join a team (http://keycount.piqsoftware.com/teams/list.php?r=join ; probably you have to browse through the pages to find Free-DC)
6. happy typing, clicking, scrolling
7. pulse! :D

Yo...is there an OS X client? Don't want to register until I know.

TIA.

Wish I'd asked that same question about Linux before I registered...:bang:

I think this is Windows only, from what I could gather- They aren't terribly explicit about the System Requirements on the website.

...

Second:
:haddock: and :spank: and :|punch|: me that I didn't told you that there are no linux- or other clients at the moment. And I think that there will be no other than windows-clients for TKC in the near future...

But I saw something on the Project Dolphins news site (http://www.project-dolphin.nl/news.php):

Also i have some progress on the new pulse stuff. Work has started on a linux client, altough the client (named KPulse) will only be for KDE for now. Also the new pulse daemon is nearly working. I'm currently in the phase of bughunting critical bugs, and i hope to find them soon ;)
Just something... If they release a KDE-client would somebody use it? If yes, we would have to change projects :slap:

Okay, I downloaded the client again.

I certainly don't type the quantity I used to (before I came across Free-DC), but something is better than nothing.

Thanks for letting us know. Sorry I've been realy busy with my webhosting company and all. Doing a lot of coding so yeah I should be able to crunch up quite a bit of keys. I may switch back to DF again soon. Climateprediction is SOOOOO boring.

btw lucky me left tkc running the whole time since :D
