Have we discussed this before? What pair-o-chips would it use?
Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW-P AMD 760 MPX chipset

I have one of those paired with 2400+ MPs (the max it takes IIRC) - very nice, stable board :)

and it wil take 2800's so I imagine they have tweaked the BIOS of the GA-7DPXDW-P.

Ahh - found it. Supports Dual AMD Athlon MP™ up to 2800+ and Duron MP™ Processors; 200/266 MHz FSB.
Those run $240 each. So that would put the board and a pair of 2800s at US $668 before adding RAM. About $120 per Ghz of processing power before RAM. Oh well, seems like I can still do better buying separate M7VIQ Mobo and 2400+ processors for $133. = $55 per Ghz of processing before RAM.

Downloading the latest BIOS is imperative! That almost always fixes up the faster CPU's.
