Now there's a sign that makes ya stop & think! :p
(Which is, no doubt, exactly what it was meant to do.)

Besides the obvious (order of caution messages), one would wonder if there was anyone out there stupid enough to even touch the sign (as in, after warning that the sign has sharp edges, why would someone touch them)??

Go figure....:D

Well, then let me tell you this story.

I was working on a seized up injection mold one day. I was attempting to remove a galled up leader pin. (one of 4 large steel alignment pins) I had a torch and was flaming the pin. It was actually starting to turn the dark straw color ( approximately 300 degrees on steel) when a customer walked in and needed to speak with me. I pulled the torch away from the pin and shut it off as I said "Don't touch that pin. It is hot." Immediately after I said this he replied, "Which pin this one?" as he grabbed hold of it then jumped back cussing.

Some people just ain't too bright.

So I would have to say that even though they would never have any desire to touch the sign before, because there is now a warning on it, there could very well be many cut fingers. You know the "Wet Paint" sign thing.

Indeed. One of my favorite authors, Terry Pratchett, has hypothesized that the Universe will end one fine day, immediately following the words, "I wonder what happens if I do this?" :smoking:

Would that be on the little box with the window, and a button?

Window shows "Push and hold to TEST"

After pushing the button, the window changes to "Release to Detonate".

Oh my.

Oh my.

That's the one. The sign above it reads: "Red button is hot, please don't touch it, if you push it you will die.

Cyg...you're guilty until proven innoccent, so unless you cough up a good explanation of the scars on the fingers (see Racer's post above for detailed explanation), then you did it. :)

Now...I'm wondering just HOW many people are gonna click that button Chinasaur. :D

Perhaps you have a pop-up-blocker installed or you use Mozilla or Opera... they disable opening pop-up-windows (we all love pop-up-ads, don't we? :D)

Ah! Mozilla has a switch for that. "Allow popups from this site." Got it.

Moogie's right. If you didn't see it, don't stay up at night worrying about it.

Still kinda cool, though. :p
