Well, lets see. If the next series of processors follow the increased pipe-line size, by the time we hit 8Ghz, we should have around a 120-step pipeline :shocked:

We should also have a 1-2Ghz bus (counting the quintpling or septupling that they do to the FSB by then)

We will have SSE4, 3Dnow!++++, processors that run at 1.5w (for the laptops), and prime95 finishing a 79M LL in a week.

Damn.
