FATAL ERROR: [000.000] {foldtrajlite2.c, line 3940} Maketrj reported an error, cannot continue

This sort of thing ONLY EVER happens on a weekend! :bang:

Well, well, well. After trying various tricks to get this to run, I shoved the whole thing into a subdirectory and cleared out all the temporary files, fold*.bz2, filelist.txt, progress.txt, etc. Essentially a "clean" start from Gen 0. (It had been on Gen 150.)

Ran all night, running all day. Last seen on Gen 20-something. Go figure!

If this problem is rproducible and you saved all the files, I would be interested to see what it causing it. Is there somewhere I could grab a zip of the dir from?

Monday. I'll email you from work.

It would be better if you uploaded the zipped directory to ftp.mshri.on.ca/incoming.
Use username:anonymous password:<your_email_address>. Make sure to give the file a descripitve name, or include a readme in the zip file describing the problem in detail.

I've just come home from work & found the same error one of my WinXP machines.
Do you want the folder zipping & uploading?

Yes, that would be the most efficient way for us to figure out what is happening.

Having looked at your directory, it appears that you most recent minimized structure got corrupted during creation. A possible reason for this may be faulty RAM, so be sure to double-check.

In the meantime, you can fix the error by removing the file named <your_handle>_36_<your_handle>_protein_220_0000018_min.val from the directory (you could simply rename the file for backup). This will cause the minimized structure to be regenerated anew and proceed normally.

Memory is running fine.

The PC had rebooted of it's own accord at some point through the day if that makes any difference

Fixed it the old-fashioned way: deleted the lot & started again :trash:
