I need help with IRC

On the front page it mentions two IRC servers.

I have never used IRC, can someone help me connect to one of these servers.

i haven't done it much, but basically you download and install a irc client program , then configure it using those servers

somebody posted a couple of windows client programs in another thread , i'll go cut/paste them

most linux distributions come with some irc clients pre-loaded
