someone maybe just to spark an interest... need another team leader (me team leader) and some people to be on each team..

Jesus! This is the first protein I have run in a couple of months. It is only going to take an hour to do the 1st generation on my AXP 2000+ with the extra RAM, even with streaming music running. Dasm! This is sooo fast!

Yea, this one is quick, thanks to the new algo. I shudder to think of how much fun a small (~70 AA) protein would be. My best machine (Barton 2500+ @ 2190) is knocking out sets right now in 24-27 hours, which is a far sight better than the 2000+ on the last protein, on the old algorithm.

There are many in things in it for you, O great and noble leader.

First, is proving to all that a mere muppet and his insubstantial follower can not stand up to the force which is Anarchy99

Second, you will be credited with the creation of a subteam that can beat out all other small insignificant subteams.

Third, you will account for the rise of Free-DC's powers to such levels that even the DPC on Stampede could not even match.

There aremany more O great and noble leader, but I must return to the front-line defending the area which is Anarchy from those with organization.

IMHO, not keen on a US -V- The Rest of World gauntlet (Which it looks like its going). Just feel it's not "politicaly correct". :dunno:

What we will need is an agreement on the start/end date. One has been proposed. Plus a list of Teams/Captains. Then the recruitment can start :drums:

it to the forum. The members of each team use the handle in their
clients.

This way we don't have to have someone do the stats, we just follow
the two user id's to see who's ahead. And when the gaunlet is over
everone can go back to using their own handles.

Recruit from within! Darkness Productions and Dyyryath have both done gauntlet stats before. Should be easy enuff for either of them to set up, then no one has to sacrifice his "personal stats pile". ;)

What ya basically do is set up teams with everyone at zero. Gauntlet production counts toward the team's stats AND your own. -Just a suggestion.

Just a thought. If it is the US vs the Brits you better keep your eye on those crafty little devils. They will probably want to say start at 12:00AM on February 1 (each in his own time zone). But, then end at 12:00 am March 1 PST. Ya just can't put it past them I tell ya.

free-dc is in the US so we go with our time zones and I am captain of the US team so we go with CST :rolleyes:

I will start a thread in trash talk called anarchy's team only post a reply if you are joining my cause otherwise I ask you not to post to it

the redcoats can do the same until we have teams decided

once the teams are decided I will post the team list and then no more choosing

I will expect the redcoats to do the same

after teams are posted there will be no joining or changing teams till it is over so make a choice and live with it

one last thing

if you decide to do this you will have to stop all other production on all other projects till it is over, if this is unacceptable then dont join a team cause it is all or nothing

so remember while this is going on all other projects will suffer make sure that this is what you want

I too will be sacraficing my D2OL production as well so dont think you are alone in this choice

That sounds like a very good idea. I was only going to post that I won't be taking part because 1st Feb is too soon, but now I am inclined to say otherwise :) Not sure why, but I like the idea of not being able to see how much each user on each sub-team is producing. Makes my small contribution seem like more, I guess ;)
