Dyy -

Just thought I'd let you in on a problem with the future rank stuff.

http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-users.pl?team=-1, when highlighting on beth133 shows future rank of 11/12 (depending on which you look at), but no one below him is outproducing him. The same goes for me (http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-users.pl?start=200&order=TotalStruct&shading=SHADE&direction=DESC&team=-1&entries=50&color=YES) shows my future rank in the ~160 area, even though there's lots of people behind me outproducing me, as well as me not outproducing any of the people in front of me (for the sake of argument, anyway).

Also, any work on global rank on the WAP page?

Thanks again!

I think there is the same problem on the current teams user stats (http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-users.pl?team=5).

rank name rms update daily weekly total
...
28 schluppy 99.999 0 0 0 28,078,626
29 Chinasaur 99.999 0 0 0 25,899,072
30 the-mk 12.031 17,387 194,112 1,358,138 22,564,513
31 FreeDC Hydra Central 12.073 54,546 387,037 3,599,466 19,006,803
32 SiteScape 11.511 28,943 144,250 1,015,845 16,961,675
...
I'm 30th within the team and my future-rankings are 29 (7d), 29 (14d), 30 (30d), 31 (60d).

As you can see, I can't reach rank 29 as fast as the Hydra Central could catch me... It'd be cool if I'd catch Chrinasaur before the Hydra roadkills me :D but my number say something different...

My first theory: Is it possible that you swapped the number of 7-days with the number of 60-days and the number of 14-days with the 30-days number? This order would be more realistic to me. (31 (7d), 30 (14d), 29 (20d), 29 (60d))

My second theory: it says that the first theory can't work when we look at the future stats of the three inactive people in front of me. How can they have better ranks in 7 days than they have now?

My third theory: I know that Master Dyyryath will iron that thingy out

Actually, yes, I did. It's my mutant ability, you know. :D

I've been gone for awhile, but I'm back home now. I'll be going through trying to get everything caught up and back on track over the next day or so. This will get added to the list.

OK, this was an easy one. The future ranks code is actually a standalone script that works in conjunction with the stats database. Unfortunately, when I migrated the database off the web server, I forgot to update the DB connection code in that script. Hence...it hasn't been running. :D

I've got it fixed and it's updating now. It should be quite a bit more accurate in a little while. ;)

DP: I'll add the global rank into the WAP stuff today.

Any luck on the GMT timezone / graphs not showing problem?

DP: Global rank has been added to DF's WAP.

pfb: I remember you mentioning that before, but I never got to it. Give me the rundown again & I'll see what I can do.

If you set the timezone to GMT then certain graphs (like daily production on the personal stats for DF, user stats for DF Project Total and few others) don't display any info or display partial info...

It seems to be the DF stats that is affected the most - the CheesBrain stats seem OK

This one was a smidge harder, but not by much. On daily graphs, the system uses the 'Last 24 Hours' number from each day's 00:00:00 update (midnight). Of course, midnight here would be 5am GMT. That's where the problem showed up. The system is no longer pulling the data hourly (like it was designed to do). Since the project stats are only updating every two hours, I've only got data on even hours, which means there isn't anything for 05:00:00. :D

I've adjusted the code to look an hour in either direction (depending on which side of noon it is) for any case where the adjusted 'midnight' is an odd numbered hour.

pfb, if you see any other problems, feel free to let me know!

The user stat graphs under team details aren't being shown when the timezone is GMT - it was working yesterday but seems that they stopped after midnight GMT...it also affects the User Stats - Total users on the project totals page...

Just a FYI

Not a problem, but more of a request. Any way to get the weekly stats reset whenever a protein change happens? Possibly for users/teams/project, or whatever. I think it would help show the correct numbers more than having previous data in there for that...

Dyy - Any chances of getting this added to the F@H3 stats as well? Thanks again :)
