So, I've got a dullie that is running the Chessbrain.net client.

My question is do I need two instances of it running or just one?

Need an answer quick so that I can load it up for the WRA. :D

Two.
More if you've got the RAM to spare:D

If you want to use both CPU's then load up more instances.
2 at a minimum, 4 would be better.

I've got Athlon MPs with 512 MB of RAM.

This is a semi-dedicated DC machine with me occasional doing some web browsing.

So, should I still go ahead and get 4 instances of it running?

Running more clients will help the stats.

It will not increase the machine count for the World Record Attempt.

Ok thanks guys for all your advice.

Now, I've tried copying the ChessBrain DeskTop folder and renaming it CB 1 and CB 2.

Now, I am in a bind, how on earth does the CB Agent knows which one to open up or do I need to do it manually.

I do it manually-- in fact, I turn the agent off and just run the executable.
