Anyone here know of some companies that offer laptops with AMD chips? I know some of the lower end HP laptops have AMD chips, but their 1240x768 XGA TFT screens aren't exactly to my liking. Any other companies that you guys know of? It doesn't matter if it's a mainstream company or not, I'm just testing the waters. I have to get a new laptop after my ferrets fryed my other one. I figured I'd go with a athalon laptop.

I've been drooling at the new eMachines Athlon 64 laptop. With rebates, it is around US$1200 right now, which isn't bad. It has a widescreen, DVD writer, built in wireless and ethernet and other fun stuff.

AFAIK, nothing beats a Pentium M based laptop today...
