Geeklog or Moveable Type???

Which would you recomend or do you have one you like more? What is the degree of difficulty in setting it up? Customizing it???

I'm basically looking for a good blogging tool that you can embed into a website...one that you can have comments enabled or not, as you choose.

Any thoughts?

If you have to have one, Geeklog. MT has a lot of scripting issues, and it can seriously slow down the machine that it's running on.

Alot of my friends are using and I think its pretty easy to use.

I don't know what to say actualy. I've checked out Geeklog before, but it seems more like a portal site script than a pure blogging script to me.

What are you looking to do? I mean feature wise?

I currently run my frontpage/blog using a MODification for the phpBB forum. It picks up the post from the forum and sends it out to any page you wish.

Pretty useful. You can check out my website in my profile to have a look at the script in action.
