I have installed it on one machine.

I had thought about it, but the idea of "separate statistics" was a bit unclear to me.
I may be completely misinterpreting, but it sounds like the stats for that machine are basically going down the tube. I think a clarification of "separate statistics" might be in order. If there was a scoring function of 10*sqr(gen), and if I knew that those points earned were going to eventually merge with my previous output, I'd be happy to help out, despite the request to not use quiet mode or dfGUI.
Anyone understand this better than I do?  :help:

I'm trying it out on one processor of one machine, just to make sure things are running smoothly.

There was a beta client like this before the start of phase II, it was the beta of the phase II client. There were separate stats, but they were just to see if things were working correctly, and also to check out the new method of scoring. Those stats are separate and are not rolled into the normal stats.
They do go down the tube. But I will run it on a machine, I do have a lot of them.

Thanks for the clarification, Welnic.
I wasn't around at the start of phase II, so that explains my ignorance there. If I had a bunch of machines instead of the 2-3 I have, then I'd run the beta as well. I'm appreciative of all the people that can and choose to do so.

I am doing it for the science of course. But I wouldn't even run a beta if it didn't have stats.
Looks like the beta server is down.
My beta clients are not running.
If the server gets fixed on monday I can start them back up again

It seemed to go down Friday night. I am running one beta client on a dualie, and I noticed that it wasn't doing any work. I just started up the my second regular client, if the beta starts running again they can just share.
