We were almost done, why stop when you're almost finished? at 22 gates it would have been a serious breakthrough. Was there a problem? We seemed to have enough cpu power.

This run was temporarily suspended to get ad-hoc results for paper to be submitted in 9 days. It will be resumed as soon as these results are collected.

oooh fun fun.
the project still ought to refuse people who are trying to migrate too often (whatever you decide is too often for a given circuit). As far as connect. Well, that's only a statistics problem, connecting often wont affect the population of the circuit like migrating too often will.

Good luck with the paper! Will you be presenting at a conference? If so, let us know how it went. :)

yup with you there safemode got that on the to do list.
Conference is in June in Portugal, hopefully should get two papers in so two presentations and a lot of feedback and interest. I guess some people may even feel threatened by this work! Will see how it goes, first need to make sure results water tight and paper is acceptable!

Will you be able to make the paper public either before or after the conference?

As soon as I'm happy with it I'll put a copy up in the forum.

Nifty, the multi-fault solutions to the C17 benchmark (cept unrestricted since it hasn't been done yet) is the same size as the single fault solutions.

Mine too, but strangely enough it looks great under konqueror under kde 3.2.
