I had the idea that it might be interesting to see a movie of the progress of the GA vs. time for a project, as measured by the island topography chart.
Besides being interesting, it might give insights into how well the GA parameters are working. It might help answer questions like does an improvement always make its way into neighboring islands often enough or is there too much or too little elitism ...
The end result might look like the game playback feature of Civilization III... ;)
