Should there be an announcement about the factoring sub-project on the SB homepage? I think so, since it will boost factoring participation and reduce the number of ranges that haven't been factored but already passed by PRP.

I vote no.
- I think it would cause confusion for the normal prp user.
- It only takes ~10 P4 2.4 GHz to keep up with prp at the moment
- It is as Louie also mentioned somewhere not something that the average user would engage into, it requires some looking after and involves quite a few diffrent operations.

Insted I think a seperate page like www.seventeenorbust.com/sieve and Mikes sieve page with an explanation how to factor would be a good thing, but for me it's not a priority since I think we almost have enough factorers at present.

I also vote no because I think we actually do have enough factorers. We are clearly pulling ahead of the PRP effort with no open ranges below the cut-off.

I voted no along time ago, and I still doesn't think info should be added to the SoB homepage, but now I've created a page, which can be used to collect some info. The adress is http://www.sslug.dk/~grove/sbfactor/.

I'll add a link to an explanation of P-1 factoring, I just have to find out which one is better.

Other things you've like to see?

Any spelling erorrs? Broken links? ...?

Nice, that's a lot easier to use than navigating through the P-1-thread.
I don't see any errors, so I suggest that a link is added to the coordination page.

No harm's been done (not to me anyways, just helped boast my ego a bit . )
Thanks for the nice man-pages both of you.
