It seems we just passed team TSG on Statsman's site (http://www.statsman.info/), counting by molecules, and we are shortly to pass team Wicca. That will put us in 21st place, teamwise, with no real challengers coming up behind. However, we'll have to push it to continue upward - there ain't too many slackers in the top 20.

I don't think that basing team comparism on molecule count is good. Every job has the same molecule count and some of them take few days, some few minutes! So it's very easy by picking up "fast" jobs in v123b to acheive very high ranking.
Based on points we're 18th. You can't cheat points much :-)

Talk to Statsman! :D He's the one who decided to do it that way. Actually, he probably set up his system before the point thing was initiated. Who knows? Maybe we'll get a better stats system, sometime.

Oh, and TSG just passed us back - a situation that (hopefully) won't hold for long.

One of the nice things about FAD is that you can measure your progress on any basis you choose. For his part Keith has no preference whatsoever so long as it keeps you crunching.

TYpe-K is right when he says that the points system is the fairest but you must make allowances for us old crunchers who still like to count mollies :)

Btw, there is a new Algorithm coming into Beta next month - you know what that means...faster Think & Bigger Mollies.
