Is there any way to alter the amount of work buffered when using the -df switch in foldit.bat?

I have a machine running back in my lab which only has a dial-up connection, so I routinely use the -df and -i f switches when I'm not back there. I've noticed that while it will keep processing past 6 sets of data, it doesn't appear to generate more than 12 sets. It still processes after 12, but it looks like it deletes the oldest data as it creates new data...keeping a perpetual 12 sets on my hard drive until I upload. Any way around this?

That is not proper behaviour. Make sure you really have -df in the foldit.bat and do dir *.log.bz2 to see how many data sets have been buffered.

Well I'm glad it's not supposed to work that way. :)

Ever since I noticed it doing that, I pulled it to nonet G@H instead so I didn't have to worry about wasted cycles. I'll download the newest DF client later and see if I can get it to happen again...hopefully not. :)
