Reminds me of the college I heard about who hated their ILS (library automation system - no, I don't know what ILS stands for, that is just what everyone calls them) so much that when they replaced it, they kept all the dumb terminals.

Every year, they take one of the dumb terminals out on the prarie, have a big cook-out, then shoot the heck out of the terminal.

I sure hope they are still doing it. Makes me feel better when I'm having a rough day at work. Even if my boss won't let me shoot the computers.
