Hi -- I've been having problems with the distributed folding screensaver for windows 2000 since version 1.02. I've manually deleted the directory and registry entries for distributed folding and started anew with 1.03 which was quickly updated to 1.04.
The error message I've started receiving since the update to 1.04 is "STATUS 908 INCORRECT PROTEIN." Then the screensaver refuses to upload completed work and resumes folding additional proteins. I did reboot my pc immediately after the update so I could run the screensaver (which runs while I'm logged in (I have administrator rights) and when the pc is at the Windows 2000 login screen).
My pc has over 17,000 completed proteins that have been building up and it would be nice to get them uploaded and not have to delete the screensaver for the 3rd time due to complications. For what it's worth, I'm running on a DSL connection so updating frequently is not an issue.
Any Ideas?
