Can anyone help?

did it do it again when you restarted it?
did it do it again after rebooting?

do you have work cached? if not, might just want a fresh install of the client

Error. log could (should) give a better picture of what it is wrong - what's that say?

Delete the whole directory except handle.txt and autoupdate.cfg.
If you are using dfgui, then leave that there to.

Clean out your C:\TEMP directory

Then download the client and re-install from scratch.

That's what I would do... ;)

That being said...man, this one is gonna hurt. I don't have all that much power anyway. Any other ideas?

you might try a fresh install to a new directory and copy the client into your existing directory and try to restart--- I wouldn't hold out too much hope though:(

do a fresh install

copy the new files into the folder holding the old ones. (back it up 1st)

try again, if it bugs out it's probably the filelist.txt file, but it could be the other base files.
